# RuleFamily

> Which engine evaluates a rule.

A booking rule gates a stay; a pricing rule moves a
rate. A closed vocabulary.

## Values

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `booking` | A rule that gates a stay. Reachable with `rules:write`. |
| `pricing` | A rule that moves a rate. Reachable with `pricing:write`. |

## In Maat

The published set is exactly Maat's own `DeveloperQuickActionFamily`. A member added to one and not the other fails our build.
