# PhotoState

> What one photo is doing.

Only a `ready` photo has a `url`, and only a `rejected` one
carries a `rejection`.

## Values

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `pending` | Reserved. The bytes have not arrived, or have not been processed yet — poll until it moves. |
| `ready` | Processed, reviewed and published. The only state with a `url`. |
| `rejected` | Terminal. `rejection` says why, from a closed vocabulary. |

## In Maat

The published set is exactly Maat's own `PartnerPhotoState`. A member added to one and not the other fails our build.
