# HostBlockCategory

> Why nights on your own listing are closed.

Required, and a closed set — there is no
free-text alternative, because the obvious thing to write in one is a guest's name.

## Values

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `maintenance` | Repairs or upkeep. |
| `personal_use` | The owner or someone they invited is staying. |
| `renovation` | Building work. |
| `cleaning` | A turnaround that needs the night. |
| `other` | Anything else. |

## In Maat

The published set is exactly Maat's own `BlockReasonCategory`. A member added to one and not the other fails our build.
