# EarningStatus

> How far one payment's money has got, from the guest paying to it reaching your bank.

It moves forward only. A payment is `pending` until the stay starts, then
`available`; requesting a payout moves it to `reserved`, and the transfer moves it
to `paid_out`.

## Values

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `pending` | Held in escrow. The guest has paid; the stay has not started yet. |
| `available` | Released and withdrawable. |
| `reserved` | Released, but committed to a payout request that is still open — neither withdrawable nor paid. |
| `paid_out` | Transferred out to you. |

The published set is exactly Maat's own `DeveloperEarningStatus`. A member added to one and not the other fails our build.
