# BlockReason

> Why nights are held on your side.

A closed set, deliberately coarse: it is the only
descriptive field on a block and it can never carry anything about a guest.

## Values

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `reserved` | Sold on your side. |
| `maintenance` | Closed for work on the property. |
| `owner_stay` | The owner is using it. |
| `other` | Anything else. There is deliberately no free-text alternative. |

## In Maat

The published set is exactly Maat's own `PartnerBlockReason`. A member added to one and not the other fails our build.
